NASARAWA PILGRIMS BOARD TO GIVE PERIORITY TO SPILL OVER PILGRIMS, INSISTS ON APRIL 21 DEADLINE

The Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has re-emphasized the determination of the board in placing high priority to intending pilgrims who decided to differ their Hajj to this year’s Hajj.

 

Almakura made this known in a meeting with Local Government Hajj Coordinators in Lafia, Sunday.

 

Mallam Idris Almakura who noted that NAHCON has allocated 1567 Hajj seats for 2023 to Nasarawa State which is below the total registered pilgrims but maintained that spillover pilgrims will be consider first before fresh registration.

 

While noting that 21st of April is the closing date for deposit, the Executive Secretary explained that the date is not applicable to defers to enable the board made adequate preparations for the exercise.

 

During the meeting, Mallam Almakura warned staff of the board and Hajj Coordinators against fraudulent act, saying anyone found wanting will be made to face the full wrath of the law.

 

Mallam Idris Almakura commended the Governor of Nasarawa State Engineer Abdullahi Sule for supporting the board to meet up the pilgrim’s welfare in the holy land.
