The Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa state Pilgrims Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has donated four wheelchairs to some disabled pilgrims from the state.
Presenting the wheelchairs to the beneficiaries in Makkah the Secretary said the gesture was to reduce their suffering of going to Mosque and Tawaf.
According to Idris Almakura, all the beneficiaries who were Fulani’s were attached with some of their relatives that will be assisting them.
He explained that the donations were his contribution and not from the treasury of the board.
Responding one of the beneficiaries Said they lack words to thank the Secretary for the surprise gift but they will continue to be praying him and the board throughout their stay in the Holy land.
