Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims’ board gets New Board Chairman

The Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has received the newly appointed Chairman Nasarawa State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Muhammad Gindau and a new member of the board,  Mallam Sulaiman Auwalu in his office Tuesday.

 

While Briefing the new Chairman, Idris Almakura told them “that information available from the National Hajj Commission indicates that hajj 2022 will takes place God’s willing.

 

Mallam Almakura who doubles as the Chairman of Forum of Executives Secretaries of States Muslim Pilgrims Boards briefed the board members on the challenges of Hajj Savings Scheme and other related matters.

 

Mallam Idris Almakura applauded Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for appointing Mallam Gindau as the new part time Board Chairman describing it’s a right step in the right direction.

 

Earlier, the new Board Chairman Mallam Muhammad Gindau commended the Executive Secretary of board Mallam Idris Almakura for introducing new policies that entrenched fairness, accountability and transparency in the board.

 

He said as board Chairman he will accord necessary support to the Executive Secretary of the board to enable him discharge his official responsibilities effectively. The appointment of Mallam Mohammed Gindau as the new Board Chairman was due to the emergence of the former Board Chairman Col. Jibrin Bala Yakubu as Emir of Wuse.
