NASARAWA STATE PILGRIMS BOARD TO CREATE OFFICE FOR HAJJ SAVING SCHEME

In a bid to ensure easy access for the registration of Hajj Saving Scheme in Nasarawa State, the Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has pledges to allocate office for Hajj Saving Scheme with the board premises.

The Executive Secretary made this known during a meeting with State Hajj Coordinators in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.

He noted that sitting office within the board’s headquarters will ensure easy access to information about the Hajj Saving scheme and as well address some difficulties of intending pilgrims who wish to enroll themselves.

Mallam Idris Almakura further intimated the Hajj Coordinators that any pilgrim who wishes to be enrolled under Hajj Saving Scheme he or she must come through the board for transparency and due process.

During the meeting, the Executive Secretary of the board tasked all the coordinators to ensure proper documentation of their pilgrims by submitting their monthly report to the board.

Almakura used the medium to warn them against defrauding intending pilgrims saying any coordinator found wanting will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
