Nigeria, Saudi Arabia Foreign Ministers hold political consultations in Riyadh

The two ministers held a meeting of the Saudi-Nigerian Political Consultation Committee.

 

RIYADH — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan received on Thursday his Nigerian counterpart Geoffrey Onyeama in #Saudi Arabia.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance and develop relations between the two countries in all fields, in addition to discussing regional and international issues of common interest, and everything that would support international peace and security.

The two ministers held a meeting of the Saudi-Nigerian Political Consultation Committee, during which they discussed aspects of intensifying joint cooperation to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries.

They also discussed bilateral and multilateral coordination on regional and international issues.

 

They explored mechanisms to advance joint relations toward broader horizons to achieve the aspirations of the leadership and peoples of both countries for further progress and prosperity.

The reception and the meeting of the Consultation Committee were attended by Assistant Minister of State for African Countries Affairs Ambassador Dr. Sami Al-Saleh and the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Faisal bin Ibrahim Al-Ghamdi. — SG
