Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor Monday said that Ministry will start refunding Rs150,000 to government pilgrims as part of Hajj support from August 17,.
The minister said that funds will be transferred to the respective banks, while payment instructions will be issued shortly.
He said that with the completion of the return of the pilgrims of the government scheme, the process of returning the amount of Hajj Support Fund of Rs150,00 has started from August 17th.
The process of distribution of Rs5.107 billion will be given back to the government pilgrims under the Hajj Support Fund.
The process will be completed from August 17 to August 31.
The amount will be deposited to 34,049 government pilgrims (including two thousand additional Hajj quota).
He said that these Hujjaj will be notified of refund through mobile SMS.
Religious Affairs Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor has directed the official pilgrims to contact their respective banks within the stipulated time.
Mobilemessage, original identity card, original passport and original bank receipt will be required to be shown to the bank staff.
The nominated banks are obliged to pay the refund of Hajj pilgrims according to their convenience through bank account, pay order or cash.
He said that in a short time, Ministry made the high-level arrangements for Hajj 2022 possible.
