A ceremony for awarding Umrah tickets to successful participants in the 43rd Ulema Academy refresher course was held in Pakistan on Saturday under the auspices of Alhajver Foundation.
Addressing the ceremony, Punjab Religious Affairs Director General Dr Tahir Raza Bukhari said ulema were a sources of knowledge and guidance in Pakistani society.
Sheikh Muhammad Saeed and Tariq Mahmood Javed also addressed the ceremony participants.
Maulana Mohammad Safdar Shakir, Hafiz Mohammad Amin Zia and Syed Mahmood Javed, who received the Umrah tickets, thanked the foundation.
They said such encouragement creates more passion to move forward in human life.
