Pilgrim’s Enlightenment Attendance Is Compulsory – Nasarawa Pilgrims’ Board

As the 2020 Hajj enlightenment of intending Pilgrims set to commence next week Saturday, 29th 2020, the Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura said attendance is compulsory.

 

This is contained in a statement signed by the Public Relations officer of the board Abdulrazaq Muhammad and made available to newsmen in Lafia.

 

The statement said a train the trainers’ workshop was organized for scholars that will preside over the enlightenment program in various local governments and development areas of the state.

 

The statement noted that drastic actions will be taken against any intending Pilgrim who doesn’t use to attend the enlightenment, as a special monitoring committee has been constituted.

 

According to the statement, the scholars where caution to keep sentiment aside and preach nothing contrary to the tenants of Hajj to enable intending Pilgrims to know the task ahead of them.

 

During the train, the trainer’s workshop, the Executive Secretary who is currently in Saudi Arabia for an official assignment was represented by the Director Welfare And Enlightenment
