The Executive Director Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu kuki commended the smooth organisation of the ongoing Pilgrims’ orientation workshop for 2022 hajj intending pilgrims in Kankia and Dutsinma Zonal Centres
Suleiman Nuhu kuki made the commendation when he visited the two zonal centers urging the pilgrims to purify themselves ahead of the holy pilgrimage.
He said the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has direct state pilgrims boards to collect a minimum of N2.5million naira as a deposit from each intending pilgrim.
Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki who confirmed that 2,146 hajj seats have been allocated to the State for this year’s Hajj operation explained that the increase in Hajj fare followed the hike in airfare and exchange rates.
Alhaji kuki who further expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the pilgrims and the preachers conducted themselves during the orientation exercise in all the two zonal centres visited urged them to continue in that regard.
