Pilgrims from Kaduna State are cautioned against shopping spree during the 2019 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.
Mukhtar Maigamo Special Adviser on Public Affairs to Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-rufai has said in a statement on Sunday in Kaduna.
He called on the pilgrims to spend their money cautiously considering the long stay of up to 45 days in the holy land before airlift back to Nigeria.
“This warning is particularly directed at those spendthrifts (sic) who spend their BTA in the first week of their arrivals in buying gifts.
“The Kaduna State Muslim Welfare Pilgrims Board has no extra money to give to any Pilgrim,” he added.
