The Qatari Government may assign Hajj 2021 to private tour operators alone as the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) in Qatar has published the list of approved tours and travels agencies for Haj and Umrah.

The names of the operators are: Ansar for Hajj and Umrah, Bin Darwish for Hajj and Umrah, Al Furqan for Hajj and Umrah, Alquds for Hajj and Umrah and Tourism, Nosook Hajj and Umrah, Labbaik Hajj and Umrah, Dorrat Meccah
Hatim Hajj and Umrah office.

Awqaf has issued a set of guidelines for Umrah pilgrims from Qatar while announcing the procedures for going to Makkah. It has asked the citizens and residents to complete the registration via the Tawakkalna App while it said three days quarantine is needed in the hotel. Requesting an Umrah permit through Eatmarna Application is needed.

Qatar residents (non GCC-citizens) should complete the following procedures before starting the trip: The Umrah package must be booked through an accredited Umrah agent and a Saudi Umrah company that guarantees housing, transportation and accommodation. The agent, through the Saudi company then should book Umrah’s and the visit through the Eatmarna Application. The Umrah company then should ensure visas for visitors.

A negative PCR test result must be presented in order to confirm that the traveller is not infected. The test result, not exceeding 72 hours before travel, should be from an accredited centre in the country, in which the pilgrim resides.
