So far, 22,000 Indonesians via 56 Flights Arrive Saudi Arabia for Hajj

 

 

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – More than 22,000 Indonesians have arrived in Medina, Saudi Arabia, to perform the hajj pilgrimage. The pilgrims come from 56 flights group.

They landed in Medina to do a series of worshipping activities for eight to nine days before the peak of the pilgrimage in Mecca.

Subhan Cholid, head of the Mecca Working Area (Daker) for Hajj Organizing (PPIH), said Mecca would begin to welcome the arrival of Indonesian pilgrims on July 14, 2019.

In Mecca, 1,203 officers were dispatched to provide services to Indonesian pilgrims this year.

Officers are stationed at, among other, the Daker Office, sectors 1-11, special sector of Masjid Al-Haram, the KKHI, and nine routes of the shawalat buses and four terminals.
