Some Nigerian Umrah pilgrims who are currently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have narrated their experience, saying performing Umrah is now easy.

The pilgrims, who travelled under Raudah Travels and Tour Ltd, bared their minds while fielding questions from HAJJ REPORTERS on the level of services offered to them in Saudi Arabia.

Most of the pilgrims said their experience is quite different from what they envisaged because of the fear of COVID-19 protocols as portrayed in the media.

Alhaji Kabiru Usman and Hajiya Halima said they enjoyed the services rendered to them and that the screening process was not as cumbersome as people thought.

“As you can see, we have arrived Jeddah today, 26th February, and preparing to proceed to Madina. Everything is well organised as against what people think.

“We have seen the opposite of all what people are saying about the cumbersome nature of the screening on arrival at Saudi Arabian Airport. Everyone that intends to come here should just come as there is no any difficulty.”

The pilgrims expressed satisfaction over the “seamless and prompt” services rendered to them.

Raudah Travels and Tour has also facilitated the performance of Umrah for pilgrims of Niger Republic to Saudi Arabia.

Another pilgrim, Alhaji Mustapha Aliyu, urged Nigerian Muslims who intend to perform Umrah to do so without hesitation.

“I am here in Saudi Arabia and I didn’t see or encounter any challenge as being rumoured back home. We arrived King Abdul Aziz international airport and our screening did not take more than 20 minutes. Here we are in Madinah going about our Ziyara freely. It is a wonderful experience. We thank Almighty Allah that Umrah is back fully.”
