Validity of Umrah visa is now 90 days, to be approved within 24hours – Saudi Ministry of Hajj

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has extended the validity of Umrah visa to 3 month from the previous 30 days validity period.

The Chairman/CEO of RAUDAH TRAVEL AND TOURS LTD Alh Umar AbdulHadi told HAJJ REPORTERS that the Umrah visa that was approved for his Company whose pilgrims are currently in Madinah has 3 months validity period.

 

It wil be recalled that the Minister Hajj Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah had earlier made a statement in a press conference that soon the Umrah visa would be extendable to 3 months.

 

Addressing a press conference, Saudi’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, said the validity of Umrah visa has also been extended from one month to three months.

 

He said pilgrims who visit the kingdom to perform Umrah can also visit other Saudi cities without any restraints.

‘We are able to secure visa for our pilgrims within 24 hours and we hope to stick with the standards in our subsequent trips’.

“In the new Umrah season, the visa is 3 months duration and 3 months validity period for single entry entry visa”, Umar Abdul Hadi disclosed to Hajj Reporters

The new extension will allows flexibility of time management for both Umrah pilgrims and Private Tour Operators especially as it relates to flight booking and other logistics.

“The Umrah visa will be issued in less than 24 hours online. The ministry has also extended the validity of the Umrah visa from one month to be valid for three months without restrictions. Umrah visa holders are also allowed to move around the Kingdom’s regions.
