We have 3 new Airbus for Hajj 2020 operation-Azman

Azman Air Services Limited has revealed that it has concluded arrangements for the 2020 Hajj operations.

Speaking when he received members of the Kano Hajj Reporters Forum who paid a courtesy call on the company on Monday, Muhammad Hadi Abdulmunaf, Accountable Manager of Azman said the firm has acquired two brand new A340-600 Airbus for the operation.

According to him, the two aircrafts, with the capacity of 410 passengers each, would be used for what he described as full and efficient operation during the forthcoming Hajj exercise.

He further disclosed that one of the two Airbus had already arrived last month, while the other one is expected to be delivered this month.

The manager also disclosed that the company had set aside another A340-600 series as a backup to the two aircrafts during the Hajj operation.

“The level of our preparation for this year’s Hajj is very high. As i am talking to you, we have acquired two A340-600 series with the capacity of 410 passengers.

” One has already arrived while the other one is expected this month. We also have a backup, of the same size, in case of a problem which we don’t pray for.

“We conducted Hajj operation last year and we studied some of our lapses and have already made amendments in that regards,” Abdulmunaf said.

The Accountable Manager also stated that the Airbus have one of the largest cargo, assuring that Pilgrims transported in the aircrafts would return home alongside their baggage.

The manager also stated that the company is in touch with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in order to conduct its services based on laid down rules and regulations governing Hajj operation by the commission.

He assured that Azman would do everything possible to ensure that it operates within the purview of NAHCON’s regulations.

He also restated his commitment to work in tandem withembers of the Hajj reporters forum, as partners in progress with the aim of achieving the set goals.

Earlier in a remark, chairman of the forum, Nura Ahmad Dakata said they weere there for a strong partnership in a bid to contribute their quota towards efforts to move Hajj operation forward in the country.

The chairman also assured of fair reports on the activities of the company and Hajj operation in general, aimed at restoring the good image of Nigeria in the eyes of other nations
