Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims welfare boards has been commended by some pilgrims that performed 2019 hajj in Saudi Arabia.

In a SMS message sent to Hajj Reporters, some of the pilgrims express delights over the way and manner officials of Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Boards attended to them.

Munirah Abdulkarim, a pilgrim from Ifelodun local government area of Kwara state said “To be honest, the officials of Kwara state pilgrims deserve commendation especially their leaders for always responding to our inquiries. You know we pilgrims ask a lot of questions due to apprehension. Whenever I call the Executive Secretary because I have his contact, he always answers my calls and responds to my inquiries even at odd hour”.

Alh Suleiman Bashiru the other pilgrim “What I have found interesting is the calls I receive from Alh Tunde Jimoh the  Executive Secretary asking me whether I meet my kids well? He even asked whether I am satisfied with the services rendered to me and my wife during our stay in Saudi Arabia”.

However, a pilgrim from Ilorin South local government, Alfa Suleiman advise Kwara State Pilgrims Boards to recruits more hajj officials in the forthcoming hajj exercise. “A situation where few officials are left to handle the affairs of over 2, 000 pilgrims who are likely to spend over 35 days in a foreign land is not encouraging”

They have done well but they should get more hands next time, he said.
