We’re on course to airlift Nigerian pilgrims allocated to us, Azman Air assures 

 

Azman Airline Company, one of the five airline companies contracted by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, to airlift Nigerian pilgrims to and from Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj, has pledged to diligently and timely evacuate, to the holy land, all pilgrims allocated to it.

 

The General Manager of the Company, Engr. Nuruddeen Aliyu made the pledge in a telephone interview with member NAHCON media team in Kaduna.

 

He said though initially Azman had issues of slots and documentation at the Saudi end, which caused delay in starting the airlift on twenty-seventh of last month, nonetheless the company will meet up, particularly, in view of the additional aircraft that would be added to its fleet, in the operation from next week, saying with it, there will be daily flight to the holy land.

 

Aliyu who expressed satisfaction with the character, behaviour and attitude of both the Kaduna pilgrims Agency and the pilgrims generally, also commended NAHCON over measures taken to ensure smooth and hitch free operation this year.

 

Meanwhile, arrangement have been concluded for the airlift of second batch of Kaduna State pilgrims this Monday afternoon by the Hajj carrier.

 

 

Azman Airline is to airlift intending pilgrims from Jigawa, Kaduna States and the Armed Forces contingent.
