The Chairman/CEO of Cargo Zeal Technologies, Mr Abdul-Aziz Afolabi says the timelines of luggage’s collections during hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia made it difficult for Cargo Operators to deliver excess pilgrims Luggage within the hajj period.

Abdul-Aziz stated this while responding to a question an interview with HAJJ REPORTERS in his 2019 hajj operational office located at Misfala in Makkah

On complains by pilgrims that they hardly received their excess cargo luggage on time Abdulaziz said “it is very difficult for us to start sending pilgrims’ luggage home now when we are still collecting luggage. We are still here now and some pilgrims that just give us luggage five days ago are calling us to know if we have delivered their luggage back home. We cannot transport our luggage in small batches as this will pose serious logistics challenges for us.  The national hajj commission gave us two weeks after hajj as the deadline for delivery of cargo luggage and we promise to deliver before that deadline elapse”.

The full interview will be published in Hajj Reporters Magazine
