Why NAHCON allocates free hajj seat to Best JAMB Students, Winner of Hajj Quiz during 2019 hajj – Usara

The need for social reforms, rewarding excellence, and promote values that can assist in the country’s governance motivates the leadership of NAHCON under its captain, Barr Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammed to gave free hajj seat to two students that excelled in 2018 Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) examination. The beneficiaries were recognized and rewarded with Hajj slots in the 2019 exercise. The two that received these awards are 18 years old Abdullahi Maje Shuaibu for the male category and Adetayo Faheedat Faramade15 years who qualified as the recipient of the female category for high scores in the JAMB examination.

“Secondly, NAHCON organized an online quiz competition for persons below 40 years and who have never participated in Hajj before. This competition was organised to whet interest in research and to promote reading habit. Uthman Zubairu Adai emerged winner among 354 online competitorsHe was rewarded with a 2019 Hajj slot.

 

“Thirdly, Corporal, Bashir Umar’s Aircraftma who found and return £37,000 to its owner was given free hajj seat under the instruction of President Muhammadu Buhari”

 

Usara said “the quest to rewards excellence did not end there as same recognition went to Jos cleric, ImamAbdullah Abubakar who, along with his Deputy Imam, rescued close to 300 Christians from being massacred in one of the Jos, Plateau state crisis. President Muhammadu Buhari instructed the Commission to include him among the National Ulama Team members that will preach to and guide Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia for 2019 Hajj.
