BAUCHI REITERATES COMMITMENT TO PARTNER STAKEHOLDERS FOR SMOOTH 2024 HAHJ EXERCISE

Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has reiterated its commitment to partner with stakeholders in addressing the enlisted challenges in the 2024 Hajj operation.

The Executive Secretary of the Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris made this known when he recieved the Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria FOMWAN, Bauchi State Chapter on courtesy call in his office.

He described FOMWAN as professional body and acknowledged their proactive role towards bridging communication gabs between the Board and the Intending pilgrims.

Imam Abdurrahman stressed that the Board is ever willing to cooperate with any association or group of people willing to contribute it’s quota towards success of Hajj operation.

Earlear in her remark the Amirah FOMWAN, Bauchi State Chapter ably represented by Haj. Aishatu Shehu Awak who doubles as pioneer Member of FOMWAN and Chairperson Bauchi State Dawa Committee said they are at the Board to register their continue support to the Board in the area of pilgrims Education and Enlightenment.

She used the forum to applaud Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for supporting the pilgrims with 50% of the Hajj fare increment announced by the NAHCON.

In another development, the Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris cautions his Staff against inappropriate discharging their assigned responsibility.

He gave the warning during an interactive session with his staff today at the conference Hall of the Board.

Imam Abdurrahman encouraged the staff to be up and doing, adding that he will not tolerate negligence in work.

He further commended the ICT staff for their outstanding performance that led to securing of 90% visas to our intending pilgrims at the moment.
