Hajj 2023: Gov Umar Dikko donates SR300 to each Katsina State pilgrim

The Executive Governor of Katsina state, Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, has donated the sum of Three Hundred Saudi Riyals to each pilgrim from the state who performed this year’s Hajj Exercise.
The gesture was announced by the Amirul Hajji of Katsina state Hon.Tasiu Maigari zango when he visited the pilgrims in their respective accommodations in Makkah on Sunday.
The Amirul Hajj said the gesture is meant to cussion the effect of the high cost of living in Makkah and urged them to reciprocate the gesture by offering special prayers for peace and tranquility to prevail in the state considering the current insecurity being experienced.
Also speaking, the Executive Director of the state pilgrims welfare board Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki expressed his appreciation to His Excellency Dikko Umar Radda for the gesture saying it will go a long way in boosting the morale of the pilgrims while in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He further thanked the state pilgrims for the way and manner they conducted themselves during Minna and Arafat outings and urged them to continue in that regard.
Some of the pilgrims who spoke during the visit thanked the governor for the donation.
