Speaking at the closing ceremony, in Kaduna, the Executive Secretary (ES) of the Agency, Dr Yusuf Arrigasiyyu enjoined the intending pilgrims to make self-appraisal of their relationship with their creator, as their actions and inactions are judged by Allah according to their intention.

Intending pilgrims from Kaduna State are expected to start the outward journey to the holy land from Tuesday, May 30th aboard Azman airline.

The ES called on the pilgrims to be good ambassadors of Kaduna State, in particular and Nigeria in general, by being law abiding, and give full respect to rules and regulations of their host country, while in Saudi Arabia.

“To the best of my knowledge I have fulfilled the first task shouldered on me, which is ensuring that every Kaduna State intending pilgrim has been sufficiently educated and enlightened about the fundamentals of Hajj exercise.

“It is now the responsibility of the pilgrims to diligently abide and carryout the Hajj rites according to the teachings and enlightenment they get from the orientation exercise”, the ES added.

Dr Arrigasiyyu thanked all stakeholders, particularly the State government and the Islamic scholars, who contributed immensely in ensuring success of the exercise.
