2023 Hajj: First batch of Kaduna intending pilgrims to fly on May 30

Kaduna State intending pilgrims are expected to start the outward journey to the Saudi Arabia May 30.

 

The Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency Yusuf Arrigasiyyu disclosed this on Sunday at the rounding up of this year’s Hajj enlightenment programme, popularly known as bita.

 

He also disclosed that the pilgrims will fly aboard Azman Air.

 

Speaking no at the closing ceremony of the bita in Kaduna the Executive Secretary enjoined the intending pilgrims to make self-appraisal of their relationship with their Creator, as their actions and inactions are judged by Allah according to their intention.

 

 

The Executive Secretary further called on the pilgrims to be good ambassadors of Kaduna State, in particular and Nigeria in general, by being law abiding, and give full respect to rules and regulations of their host country, while in Saudi Arabia.

 

Dr. Arrigasiyyu said, to the best of his knowledge he has fulfilled the first task he shouldered, which is ensuring that every Kaduna State intending pilgrim has been sufficiently educated and enlightened about the fundamentals of Hajj exercise, saying it was now the responsibility of the pilgrims to diligently abide and carryout the Hajj rites according the teachings and enlightenment the got from the orientation exercise.

 

He thanked all stakeholders, particularly the Kaduna State government and the scholars, who contributed immensely in ensuring success of the exercise.
