Hajj 2023: Katsina Airlifts over 2,984 pilgrims in 6 flight operations

The Katsina State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has so far facilitated the airlift of total number of 2984 pilgrims from Umar Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina to Saudi Arabia.

 

The airlifts updates obtained by HAJJ REPORTERS from the Boards’ Public Relations unit showed that Max Airline has conducted 6 trips since the first batch departed onboard Max Air NGL1007 carrying 543 pilgrims on 31st of May 2023.

 

The Public Relations Officer of the board, Alh Badaru Karofi stated that the ‘Executive Director of the board Alh Suleiman Nuhu Kuki along with the management were in the airport to witness the departure of all the flights and attributes the success behinds the large numbers of pilgrims recorded so to the seamless coordination between the board and all the relevant stakeholders in airlift operations.

 

Badaru said the next batch of Katsina state pilgrims will be airlifted tomorrow Insha Allah

 

“As I am speaking to you, the board is working the on the 7th flight manifest and they will be invited to the camp tomorrow morning.
