25 Pakistani bikers’ begins 14,000 kilometres ride to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah

The 25 bikers will cover a distance of over 14,000 kilometres to reach Makkah by road

 

 

A major step in spiritual journey  has been initiated in Lahore as a group consisting of 25 bikers on Friday left for Saudi Arabia via road to perform Umrah.

The bikers will cover a distance of more than 14,000 kilometres by to reach Makkah.

 

Officials of the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), along with representatives of Iran’s Khana Farhang (cultural centre), were present at Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium as the the group of bikers embarked on their journey.

According to the TDCP, the group of bikers would visit Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq, and their prime focus would be to visit main cultural, religious, and tourist attractions in the countries.

 

 

According to the bikers, they are travelling with the mission of promoting peace, brotherhood, and friendship. For this mission, they have conducted extensive research before embarking on this journey.

 

Moreover, the bikers also revealed that they have ensured all necessary security arrangements needed for the journey.
