HAJJ 2023: BORNO STATE PILGRIMS’ WELFARE BOARD COMMENCES PILGRIMS ENLIGHTENMENT PROGRAM

The Borno State Pilgrims Welfare Board is set to commence its first phase of Da’awah lectures for intending pilgrims from Maiduguri and its environs. The lectures begins today 21st May and ends on Monday 22nd May 2023. The program will start at 9 a.m, prompt every day.

This was revealed by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Ali Malam Bukar after a meeting with the board’s Da’awah committee in his office in Maiduguri.
The Executive Secretary said the da’awah lectures are very crucial to the performance of Hajj rites, especially for those who are performing the Hajj for the first time. He therefore calls on all intending pilgrims for this year’s Hajj to attend the lectures unfailingly.

He said several renown Islamic scholars have been invited from all parts of the State to deliver lectures on #Hajj rites and how to perform hajj. Some Medical experts amd officials from the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons will also speak on hygiene and other crucial issues.

Alhaji Ali Malam Bukar also reminds Intending Pilgrims that the medical screening and examinations are ongoing at the Nursing Home, Maiduguri. Any intending Pilgrim who fails to undertake the medical examination and screening will not be allowed to perform the Hajj.
