Guard Your Luggage Against Drug Peddlers, NAHCON Tells Hajj Pilgrims
THE National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has called on intending pilgrims for this year’s hajj from Nigeria to handle only their luggage and guard them to avoid falling victim to drug peddlers.
The head of the civic orientation unit of the commission, Alhaji Umar Bala, made the call in a telephone interview during a programme on Freedom Radio, Kaduna.
Alhaji Bala said the call became necessary in view of recent happenings in which drug peddlers connive with luggage handlers at some airports to freight illicit substances abroad.
