HAJJ 2022: Azman Air Airbus arrive Lagos Airport, to airlift Ogun State Pilgrims

Azman Air has positioned an Airbus A340-600 at the Hajj/ Cargo Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Ikeja Lagos at the early hours of Wednesday In Preparation to lifting Hajj Pilgrims from Ogun State to Saudi Arabia.

 

The Airline said it is repositioning the Aircraft from Kano state. It added that the positioning was witnessed by Federal and State delegates from National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

 

Azman in a post on its verified Facebook page also said the Executive Secretary of Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mr Dauda Babatunde expressed his satisfaction during the inspection of the 409 seater Aircraft and affirmed his confidence in Azman Air to deliver on his promise of a seamless Operations.

 

HAJJ REPORTERS contacted the manager in charge of Hajj and Umrah Service of Azman, Alhaji Nura to find out if the repositioning of the Aircraft from Kano is due to the reported rejection of its services by the Kano state government.

 

He said “no we will start with Ogun pilgrims then return to Kano for Kaduna pilgrims, Kano will be airlifted on 19th as scheduled the allocation is still with Azman Air no changes from the commission”
