Hajj 2022: Kaduna commences Airlift of Intending pilgrims today

The first batch of intending pilgrims for this year’s Hajj from Kaduna state are to depart Kaduna International Airport to Prince Muhammad Bn Al-Saud in Madinah tomorrow, Tuesday the 21st of June 2022.

The Executive Secretary of the state Pilgrims Agency, Dr Yusuf Arrigasiyyu confirmed this in an interview at Mando Hajj Camp, Kaduna.

 

According to him, the first batch comprises four hundred intending pilgrims from Ikara, Igabi and Giwa local government areas and also some part of Zaria.

 

He mandated all officials to obey rules of engagement and also be a pacesetter for the pilgrims.

 

Arrigasiyyu vowed that the Agency will never tolerate any act of lawlessness from the officials adding that any of them found guilty must be brought to book to serve as deterrent to others.

 

The Executive Secretary also called on the intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of Kaduna state and the nation in the Holy land. He also advised them to exchange and expend their Basic Travelling Allowance (BTA) wisely.
