HAJJ 2023: OGUN BEGINS MEDICAL SCREENING FOR INTENDING PILGRIMS

Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced medical screening for its 2023 hajj intending pilgrims to ascertain their health status in order to prescribes appropriate medical treatment plans before embarking on the Holy pilgrimage.

 

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda, while addressing the intending pilgrims at the Board secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, affirmed that the test would avail them the opportunity to know their status and probably seek medical attention immediately.

 

Salau noted that one of the criteria to guarantee them a seamless Hajj exercise is to partake in the ongoing medical test, saying that the best medical laboratory would give them accurate results.

 

On behalf of other intending pilgrims, Mrs. Mulikat Okurounmu, appreciated the Board for proper arrangement, saying the gesture would give them the chance to tackle whatever ailment is discovered during the process.
