President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved the appointment of Ambassador Muazam Ibrahim Jibrin Nayaya as Nigeria’s Consular General to Jeddah, Saudi arabia.
Ambassador Nayaya was appointed alongside 11 consular generals to various foreign missions.
The appointment was announced via a statement signed by Alkasum Abdulkadir, the Special Assistant on Media and Communication Strategy to the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar.
The Consular General in Jeddah plays a pivotal role during each Hajj operations in terms of offering logistics and other Saudi related relations between the host country and Nigerian contingent.
