Intending Pilgrims from Nasarawa State who have completed paying their 2024 Hajj fare will receive their Uniforms and Hand luggage on Thursday the 25th of April, 2024 through their respective coordinators.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura made this known during a meeting with the State Hajj Coordinators in Lafia, the state capital.
Mallam Almakura noted that the coordinators will be given the items based on the exact number of pilgrims registered through them just as he charged them against any sharp practices.
According to the Executive Secretary, the meeting was also organized to receive update from the coordinators with regards to the number of pilgrims for each coordinator for effective grouping and necessary planning.
He explained that only Pilgrims who completed paying their fare will get the uniforms and hand luggage while those who did not complete their payments before the dateline can apply for refund or differ their hajj deposit to next year’s.
He maintained that the board is ready to make refunds to any pilgrim who applies for refund before departure.
The Executive Secretary added that preparation is on top gear to commence medical screening of the intending pilgrims next week. He warned pregnant Pilgrims to as a matter of urgency not to present themselves for screening, saying no pregnant woman will be allowed to perform this year’s hajj.
