Niger State Pilgrims Boss to Area officers: Double your efforts in collection of 2023 Hajj fare

The Executive Secretary of Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Umar Makun Lapai, have directed Area Pilgrims Welfare Officers APWOs, in Niger State to double their efforts in the collection of 2023 Hajj Fares.

 

Alhaji Umar Makun Lapai stated this while addressing APWOs at his office in Minna, saying the boards have to meet the deadline of remitting 50% of the 2023 hajj payment to NAHCON as agreed during the hajj preparatory joint meeting at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently.

 

 

He also warned them that they should desist from cash transactions, to guard against any form of confusion.

 

 

Alhaji Makun Lapai assured them of his readiness to make sure that the state maintained her leading position as one of the Top 3 best in Hajj Operations, in Nigeria.

 

 

He said the board was yet to sign an agreement for accommodations until the number of intending pilgrims were determined.

 

 

He disclosed that the 3rd of February was the deadline for the remittance of at least 50% deposit of hajj fares.
