Hajj 2022: Nasarawa Muslim Pilgrims Board Begins Pilgrims’ Enlightenment

The Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Malam Idris Ahmed Al-Makura, has directed Pilgrims Coordinators of local government and development areas to commence immediate and earnest preparation for 2022 Hajj.

 

Al-Makura gave the directive during a meeting with the Coordinators in Lafia to abreast them of preparations for Hajj 2022.

 

The executive secretary informed them that NAHCON has received communication from Saudi Arabia authorities to commence preparation for the exercise.

 

He enjoined all the coordinators to commence preparation with the usual pilgrim’s enlightenment and education programmes to all intending pilgrims of their respective local government areas.

 

Then meeting also discussed other issues, including Hajj deposits, the innovations of migration to Hajj serving scheme, Bank Verification Number (BVN), the National Identification Number (NIN), Phone numbers of intending pilgrims, Expiration date of E- passports and replacement of pilgrims.

 

Malam Idris Al-Makura appreciated the support and existing cordial working relationship between the management of the board and the coordinators, while praying for a sustainable partnership in the interest of all and development of the state.
