The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has fix April 17 as the deadline for completing the approved 2023 hajj fare for the intending pilgrims from the state, warning that failure to pay before the deadline may lead to the cancellation of the seats of affected pilgrims.
Executive Secretary of the board, Ahmed Umar Labbo stated this in an interview with newsmen on the board’s preparation for the Hajj exercise.
He said “each intending pilgrim is expected to pay N2,919,000 million as this year’s Hajj fare, the board had fixed Friday, April 21, 2023, as the deadline for the collection of balance from the state intending pilgrims”.
“We are therefore urging all intending pilgrims who made deposit payments to come forward and settle their balance of N419,000 within the deadline.”
“Labbo added that a total of 1,525 intending pilgrims are expected to perform this year’s hajj from Jigawa State.
