JUST IN: Nigerian pilgrim dies in Arafat in Makkah
A Nigerian intending pilgrim from Kaduna state has passed on today while performing Hajj rites at the plains of Arafat ground, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Hasiya Aminu from Zaria Local Government died few minutes after she assisted in the distribution of food to pilgrims in the state’s tent.
Confirming her death, the Acting Director of Operations, Alhaji Abubakar Alhassan said the pilgrim had earlier went to Jabbal Rahma (mountain of mercy) and returned to her tent.
She died inside the tent without any prior illness
