Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe as the leader of the state’s contingent (Ameerul-Hajj) to 2024 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
This appointment was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Rafiu Ajakaye and made available to Independent Hajj Reporters.
The statement said the choice of the senator is borne out of his experience and networks as a Muslim community leader.
The statement expressed confidence that the senator will deploy his knowledge and understanding of the terrain to ensure improved coordination and efficiency for the exercise.
Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe represented Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly between 2019 and 2023
