The leadership of the First Aid Group of the Fitiyanul Islam of Nigeria Nasarawa State Chapter has presented an award of excellence to the Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura.
Presenting the Award to the Executive Secretary in Lafia, Chairman Fitiyanul Islam Nasarawa State Chapter Mallam Noma Sadami explained that the group deemed it fit to honoured the Executive Secretary of the board in recognition of his support to the group and services for intending pilgrims.
The Leader of the group noted that since Malam Almakura assumed office as Executive Secretary of the board, he has stem all fraudulent acts and as well improved welfare of the state Pilgrims while in the holy land.
Mallam Noma used the medium to call on Muslim Ummah in Nasarawa State to continue to pray for the success of the 2024 hajj in view of numerous challenges of exchange rate that led to sudden hike in this year’s Hajj fare.
Receiving the award at the Lafia Central Mosque shortly after the weekly enlightenment programmes, Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura expressed gratitude to the leadership of the group for finding him worthy of the ward and promised to put more efforts in the discharge of his duties.
Mallam Almakura therefore dedicated the award to the people and government of Nasarawa State, stressing that the all success recorded was as a result of the support the Governor Abdullahi Sule is giving to the board.
He also shower encomium to the Management and Staff of the board for their contribution towards the success of hajj operations in the state and the country at large.
