Hajj Airlift: Bala approves repair of Bauchi airport facilities

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state Tuesday directed for the total rehabilitation and upgrade of facilities and equipments at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi, in a bid to ensure standard in the operations of the airport in line with Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA’s) guidelines.

The permanent secretary in the Ministry Of Works, Hamisu Garba, who stated this after inspecting the ongoing rehabilitation services at the airport, noted that the work is going on smoothly.

Hamisu stated that the rehabilitation project cut across water management, generating sets, air conditioners, X Ray screening machines and other structures of the airport.
