Bauchi state set to construct ultra-modern permanent Hajj camp

Bauchi State Government has pledged to commence construction of an ultra-modern permanent Hajj camp in the state, a statement signed by Muhammad Sani Yunusa, Information Officer of the Bauchi State Pilgrims Welfare Board has said.

 

The statement said the project is part of the desire of the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad to take the state to another level.

 

The statement said, Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde, the Special Adviser to the governor on pilgrims affairs disclosed this at the on-the-spot assessment of the proposed land.

 

He stressed that the governor is committed to work for the good people of Bauchi State.

 

He expressed optimism that the permanent camp, to be situated close to the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport would provide a conducive operating environment to the officials.

 

Tilde further reiterated this administration’s determination to complete the project on time with a view to accommodate the 2020 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and assured a prompt payment of compensation to the land users.

 

The inspection team led by the adviser has the Ag. Executive Secretary of the Pilgrims Board Mal, Alkasim Dallami Shall, Directors from Ministry of Land and Survey, Ministry of Works, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and a village head of Durum.
