Cross River State Muslim Pilgrims Board has distributed laptops to the Staff of the board in order to promote the Hajj Saving Scheme in the state.
The laptop was distributed by the Chairman of the board, Alh Rabilu Abdullahi Maimaje after the meeting of boards at the Cross River State Muslim Pilgrims Board office in Calabar.
Alh Rabilu Abdullahi Maimaje told HAJJ REPORTERS that the board came up with the idea because there are no JAIZ BANK branch within South South and so they have to device a way of promoting the scheme
He said the state “really need to come up with the plan to promote the scheme by introducing the laptop and internet facilities to staff to work outside office and vising some Masjid”.
The board has constituted two teams with Alh Sani as team leader that will cover Ikom, Ogoja and Ubudu Local Government Area while Alh Ahmed and Alh Abdullahi Orok also will cover the Calabar Municipality.
