First batch of Kano pilgrims return home

The first batch of Kano state pilgrims who performed the 2019 Hajj have arrived the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Wednesday.

The 534 pilgrims left the King Abdul’azeez airport Jedda on a Boeing 737 Max Air flight at about 10:20am.

It could be recalled that the Kano State Pilgrims Board had airlifted 3,170 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2019 Hajj exercise.

Briefing journalists in Jedda, Saudi Arabia, Executive Secretary of the Board, Muhammad Abba Dambatta said all arrangements have been concluded for the successful return flight of the Kano state pilgrims.

Mr Dambatta urged the pilgrims to be law abiding especially concerning their baggage limitation of 32kg and 8kg hand bags.
