Hajj 2020: Bauchi urges intending pilgrims to hasten payment

Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board says its doors for collection Hajj deposits from intending pilgrims in Bauchi State are still opened.

Addressing newsmen in his office on the update for this year’s Hajj exercise , the Acting Executive Secretary of the board Mal. Alkasim Danlami Shall, explained that the earlier announced date for closing of collection of Hajj deposits is no longer realistic.

Alhaji Alkasim Shall therefore called on those who paid less than 1.5M as Hajj deposit to make their complete payment.

He advised intending pilgrims to take advantage of this period and deposit their fare with the board or through hajj affairs officers at the 20 LGAs to enable the NAHCON conclude the necessary arrangements in good time.

He commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his support to the board which made it possible to achieve the successes recorded.

On the deathly Coronavirus that is ravaging the world, Mal. Alkasim Danlami Shall called on Nigerians to pray that the disease will not be a stumbling block to the conduct of this year’s Hajj.
