The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Board says it has made adequate arrangements as part of its preparations for a successful conduct 2022 Hajj.

The Executive Secretary of the board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, confirmed this during an interactive session with the Local Government Hajj Affairs Officers today in his office in Bauchi.

 

Imam Abdurahman Idris said that the Board is now expecting an update report on this year’s exercise from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to forge ahead.

 

He assured that the Bauchi State Government has resolved to remain focused on the provision of maximum comfort of the state pilgrims.

 

The chief scribe noted that the board has made efforts at maintaining all its office facilities and repaired all its utility vehicles, while those in Saudi Arabia would be serviced in readiness for the Hajj operations.

 

Imam Abdurrahman Idris further unveiled that government has officially handed over the management of the newly constructed ultra-modern Hajj Camp in Bauchi to the board.

 

On the ongoing registration and payment of Ramadan Umrah fare, which was organised by the board in collaboration with tour operators, he called on the Local Government Hajj Affairs Officers to rededicate themselves to service for the success of the initiative.
