Hajj: Kwara holds enlightenment programme, prayer for intending pilgrims Sunday

Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board will on Sunday, April 28, hold an enlightenment programme and a special prayer for all its intending pilgrims for this year’s Hajj.

This is contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Alhaja Jumoke Jimoh on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Board Alhaji AbdulSalam Abdulkadir.

The statement said that the prayer will be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Solih and other Muslim scholars from within the state.

The prayer and the enlightenment will be held within the premises of the pilgrims’ board in Ilorin.

The statement urged all intending pilgrims to attend promptly.

The prayer and the enlightenment programmes are part of the activities to ensure hitch free hajj exercise.
