Niger State Pilgrims welfare Board has requested intending pilgrims from the state to speed up the payment of Hajj fare before the 21st of April 2013.
The Executive Secretary of the Board Alhaji Makun Makun Lapai stated thisin Minna yesterday.
Makun Lapai who said the National Hajj Commission has finally approved the sum of N2, 919,000:00 for the 2023 Hajj exercise, urged intending pilgrims who already have their deposits with the board, to pay the balance of N419,000.
Makun who further said payment are to be made through certified bank draft, warned interesting pilgrims not to make payments in cash.
“Intending pilgrims yet to make any deposits are also advised to make their full payment of N2,919,00 through the stipulated arrangements as approved by the National Hajj Commission insisting that the payment should not be made in cash.
