It is Official: South Africa opt out of Hajj 2020

South Africa Hajj and Umrah Council has announced withdrawal from Hajj 2020.

This was contained in a press statement issued yesterday.

The statement said” “Based on the closure of the borders, the curtailment of International travel and issues pertaining to COVID-19, it is with regret that we inform South African accredited Hujaaj that South African pilgrims will NOT be able to embark on Hajj”
