The Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, announced his approval of the application to establish the “Makkah Guests” Association to serve pilgrims and Umrah performers.

The association aims to “provide guidance, relief and social services to pilgrims and Umrah performers in line with the Kingdom’s stature, and to welcome, celebrate and bid them farewell through the centers and outlets designated for this.”

The association will participate with the bodies working in the service of pilgrims and Umrah performers in coordination with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and encourage young people and develop their skills to volunteer to serve the guests of the House of God, as the association’s activities will focus on awareness and education programs and campaigns.

The decision comes within the plans of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to expand the establishment of NGOs and support development projects in various regions of the Kingdom.
