The statement showed that the number of pilgrims from Saudi citizens reached more than 33,000, including 16,753 men and over 16,000 women, while the number of resident pilgrims reached more than 25,000. The pilgrims were distributed at the holy sites according to four zones.
The number of pilgrims registered under the red zone reached more than 16,900, while the number of pilgrims in the green zone accounted for more than 20,000. The number of pilgrims in the blue zone reached 12,476 while the number of pilgrims from the Yellow Zone exceeded 9,000.
The total number of camps where the pilgrims were accommodated was 213, including 71 camps in Mina and Arafat, and 71 areas in Muzdalifah, in addition to 848 rooms in Mina towers, the statement added.
