Saudi Minister of Hajj discuss modalities of 2023 Hajj with ambassador of Mauritius

Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah met here today with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mauritius to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Shaukat Ali Soudhan to discuss a number of issues related to the affairs of pilgrims and Umrah performers coming from Mauritius, and the necessary arrangements to facilitate the performance of their rituals easily and smoothly.

 

The meeting focused on the ministry’s role in facilitating the arrival of pilgrims and Umrah performers to Makkah and Madinah and raising the quality of services provided to them so that they can perform their rituals with peace and ease, in order to accomplish the objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030.

The two sides also reviewed a number of common issues in Hajj and Umrah.

The plenipotentiary ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for offering various digital services and facilities to pilgrims generally and to the pilgrims of the Republic of Mauritius specifically, which led to the success of the Hajj season for the previous year
